The first time someone told me about the scientific method, I was deeply disappointed. I really thought I was going to learn how to use a Bunsen burner to make candles, or start an earthquake with a paperclip, or something cool and science-y.
But the scientific method is so simple: Ask a question, try something, check back to see what happened. I guess I was a scientist when my four-year-old self tried rubbing banana all over my face to see if it would look like make-up. Who knew?
